Tempo Montessori is a year-round charter school in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
Preparing children for young adulthood by cultivating their innate self-direction and love
of learning.
About Tempo
Problem
Education today isn’t working. Oklahoma ranks 50th in the US for education. This ranking is seen in our young people as they enter the workforce.
The current system isn’t responding to the needs of individual children. Families and children feel unseen and unheard.
Solution
Tempo believes children who learn through Montessori education are seen, heard, and thrive. Montessori teachers guide children as they learn at their own pace, and equip them to take charge of their own future.
Benefit
Montessori education utilizes special materials designed by Dr. Montessori, which take abstract concepts like regrouping and make them concrete through hands-on materials. Children who learn through concrete materials can learn quickly, fill in gaps in their understanding, and retain information for longer periods.
Because Montessori is a whole-child approach, Tempo focuses on developing responsibility, freedom, and civic awareness, in addition to strong academics.
We need your support to meet these needs.
We are actively collecting information of those who support Tempo’s mission.
